The version 4.4 of the CI-Link project will be released in the next few weeks. Among the new features are some new extension libraries providing interfaces to the libpcap, XSLT, SOAP and JAVA technologies.
The CI-Link distribution has been enriched with an extension SDK which offers an easy to learn framework to write extensions for the CI-Link language. These extensions will be written in C/C++ language and will take the shape of a shared library. Each extension will add a set of classes to the CI-Link language. A number of extensions already exists: PDF, SWF (Flash/Ming), LibCrypto, etc...
The CI-Link version has been released, with some bug corrections, and a few enhancements like extensions, or the handling of adapters when compiling.
The command file win/cilinstallfromsource.bat has been updated, both in the CVS repository, and in the file releases.
There is an issue when running the cilinstallfromsource.bat command file to finalize the installation once the project has been built : double quotes are not removed from the command line arguments when used within the script, leading to path errors.
We expect to solve this quickly.
The CI-Link project has eventually been released. The source code is available both from the CVS repository and from the file releases. Please feel free to contact us for any issue you might encounter during compilation, installation, or when using CI-Link.
