Hi Everyone

Just wanted to add an update, as I have not been around for a while. This has been due to the stresses from work and a health issue. As they say I was burning the candle at both ends trying to meet the demands of the new owners of the company I work for.

I am hoping to get back to normal shortly and so I just starting to reveiw where I got with the changes I was looking at.

Aplogies for not being around recently. My full time job has been very demanding over the last few months and will likely be the same until late November\early December.

The company I work for has been sold to another company in America, which is owned by a Chinese company. So I have had to produce lots of new architect documents ready for the full take over process. To make matters harder I am a trustee for the pension scheme which means I have to also consider the sale process to protect the members of the scheme.... read more

-Fixed issue in productfinder (Search) now shows in stock for current till location
-New Column added for sync process
-Ability to print the original creator of a ticket if required (printOriginalUser())
-New sync library added (1.06)
-Removed line of debug code
-Added Sync version to info box
-Removed default shift out of table, not needed

Version v0.54.3

Bug fix release, just released a bug fix release, I know it is a couple of releases in as many days, but due the my upcoming revsion, would rather get these bug fixes out as soon as possible, as they affect upgrading from v0.54.1

There is 1 new feature, that is the tiptext messages are stored in the locales files, these will need to be added to other locales other than english.

Just released v0.54.2, this is a bug fix release with one new feature. The ability to limit change given, this will assist when a user scans a barcode on the sale payment screen.

Version v0.54 of the software has been released. This version includes a number of bug fixes and the start of some new features. For more details read the Readme.txt.

As always backup your system before implementing this update and report any issues.

One of the big changes is the way reports and Locales are handled, these ar no longer part of the jar file, and are read from the folders directly. This will enable any individual changes to be used without recompiling the code.... read more

Hi All

Released v0.53.3 to resolve issue after merging code from Github was makes scripts more readable. This will ensure that the default scripts are convert to read ${ticket,tickettype} == "NORMAL" rather than ${ticket,tickettype} == 0 for example.

New version released today, this release fixes a number of the bugs reported, and adds a few new features. It further improves the refund bug. It includes some of the code changes and fixes from other branches from github.

As always backup before implementing an update.

Release v0.53.1, this is a fix to stop the Derby upgrade failure found in v0.53. It also adds an autorefresh option in the product setup.

New version released today, this release fixes a number of the bugs report in the ticket section. The big fix is around refunds. There was an issue pervious versions that came with the fork of Unicenta and Openbravo, where a product could be refunded indefinitely on a single receipt. This is now resolved.

A new release of Chromis has now been released, See the read for list of changes.

As part of this release a new Kitchen Screen version has also been made available, the 2 versions are dependant upon each other. If you use the Kitchen Screen you will also need to upgarde that as part of the Chromis Pos upgrade.

I would like to say thank you for all the support I have seen so far, with this new venture.

It has been a busy past few days, in getting the first release out. Then having to pull V0.20 to fix a bug missed by the testers, which caused an issue with the convert routine under some circumstances.

It is intended to get a stable release based on my 1.6 changes. Then to start looking at ways to optimise the code, before jumping in with the long list of new features and changes, I have in mind.... read more
