PGNBook is now called PGNXtract. The name change is intended to make it clear that this is primarily about filtering PGN files with pgn-extract. The fact that you can also create a Polyglot opening book from the generated PGN files is a nice side effect. When creating an opening book, you have to answer the following questions beforehand (please refer to the readme file for more details):
Remove games by using tag files [y]?
Remove games with setup tags (e.g. Chess960) [y]?
Remove comments, NAGs and variations [y]?
Maximum number of plies (optional):
Additional parameters for pgn-extract (optional):
Remove duplicate games [y]?
The player list was only generated in connection with the move average list. The player list is now always generated.
PGNBook is a batch processing tool for Windows that processes PGN files and creates Polyglot books.
Parameters -W and -D added when calling Ordo (see documentation for more details). Display of columns limited to the necessary ones in the output of Ordo.
You can now also define a chess engine and a rating as a reference for creating a rating list using Ordo.
PGNStat is a batch processing tool for Windows (consisting of a Windows batch file), which processes PGN files and creates several statistics as a result. One of the main tasks is to create a move average list. The batch file requires third-party tools which should be downloaded first. For further information, please read the readme file.
