Chat5 / News: Recent posts

Chat5 0.2 is under developement and will be released within a month or two. This completely rebuilt version will include:

- New XMLHttpRequest-driven interaction to stop the page from blinking
- Smilies
- Image support
- Several other minor additions
- Completely restructured code

Two days after the first release, I realized there was a small error in the installer. This release fixes that problem.

This is the first public Chat5 release.

Chat5 is a brand new web chat program written completely in PHP and MySQL that requires no additional software to run on the server.

Please provide feedback in the discussion forums.
