Is there an adequate .deb in the file repository to install lib7zip on Ubuntu 12.04 precise x86_64 ?
Do I need to compile it from source ?
lib7zip_1.6.3-1_amd64_lenny.deb seems to do the trick.
For those searching for this file. It is available in various formats at https://sourceforge.net/projects/cdcat/files/lib7zip/
For Ubuntu 12.04 you can use this repo (including lib7zip, mediainfo, cdcat): http://download.opensuse.org/repositories/home:/crissi/xUbuntu_12.04/
Otherwise, download directly: http://download.opensuse.org/repositories/home:/crissi/xUbuntu_12.04/amd64/lib7zip_1.6.3-1_amd64.deb http://download.opensuse.org/repositories/home:/crissi/xUbuntu_12.04/amd64/lib7zip-dev_1.6.3-1_amd64.deb
