This is a cosmetic quirk only:

I performed the following search from the advanced
search page:
+supper +salvation -authorID:eas*
scriptureRef:Matt___000000

Then I added ^3 after the +supper term, and the
formatting of the search results page changed. The
relevence column got considerably narrower.
