Hey, awesome program. I use it all the time (Windows x64). My only gripe is that it'll sometimes crash and I'll have to set up the job again after figuring out what's been encoded and what hasn't, which is easy enough, but I would like to see the program keep an internal log that it updates after every successfully encoded file (say a list and once a file is successfully encoded, it removes it from the list) so that in the event of a crash, if __list_to_encode.wvr exists, then it'll just load that back up and ask if you want to pick the job back up.

The next thing I'd like to see is the app use all my available logical CPUs. I notice that fre:ac on my Windows x64 only uses 50% of the CPU time, so for long lists, I end up running two copies. Again, easy enough, but it would be nice to see the program do this automatically.

Lastly, I would like to see functionality (maybe as a checkbox in the options) to skip songs that are already done (say by simple filename check).

That's it for now. Thanks for a great program!

    Thank you for your suggestions!

The option to skip all existing files when starting the conversion process has been available in fre:ac snapshot versions for a while. Please try the latest snapshot (20141005 at the time of this writing).

A parallel processing mode is available in the snapshots since release 20140921. It can be configured to use all CPU cores and is much faster than two parallel copies of fre:ac 1.0.22 or previous snapshots. See this blog post for a speed comparison.

I'll think about the crash recovery feature. It's a nice idea!
