#149 (0.2.6) "view EOL Symbols" option screws up display

I have downloaded the latest version from CVS today
(28/9/03). When I enable the option to view the EOL
line characters the first line of the display window is
repeated over and over. This happens in both the edit
window and the shell window, and whether I enable the
option through the menus or the explorer/preferences.

I also had the same problem on version 0.2.3.

I am running Python 2.2.2 & WxPython 1.4.1.2 on
Windows XP Home Edition.

Thanks was a wxPython bug and has been fixed in 2.4.2.4
