Dear list, dear Steven, dear Andr=E8, I am pleased to announce, that my new piece "Tendenzen" (Tendencies)=20 got first performed on Wednesday evening in Frankfurt. It is my first=20 piece made with "blue". I did spatial granular synthesis in second=20 order Ambisonic. During the last month I reconfigured my Ambispace.csd=20= to make it usable for granular synthesis. It is bases on the use of=20 Cmask within blue. Thanks so much, Andre for releasing the source code.=20= Now every single grain gets its own position in space with its own=20 early reflections. Lines and surfaces of grains are possible now with=20 several hundred grains per second, all distributed via Ambisonic. If=20 this all is perceivable as such...this is another question ;-), but it=20= definitely is a progress. I guess the concert has been a great success and most of people liked a=20= lot what they heard. I performed without height component, with just=20 six speakers though, as the room for presentation did not permit any=20 elevated speakers. I am sure, having described this, everybody would like to have a look=20 at the blue-file. Yes- I will make it available, but only as soon as I=20= have sorted out the code: Still there seem to be some bugs in it that=20 make the use of my code more than user- unfriendly. The use of it is=20 not logical enough, and it is far from being intuitive and reliable.=20 Also I have had huge problems at the end with file output (Sr=3D 65408=20= !!??!!). I will first have to have a closer look at it all. If it is=20 done well on my side, it will sure work together very well with blue.=20 Then I'll post it. Now, Steven, thanks so much for that program, it is awesome! Thanks=20 also for that lot of instant response you gave to my wishes and bug-=20 reports. It is a pleasure to collaborate with you!
