Hi Jan Jacob, For freezing, it uses a different command than the one for realtime or disk render. The command it uses is the one in the Utility tab of Program Options. There are two fields, one for a csound command (used by freezing and the soundfont viewer), and another for flags specifically for freezing. The separate flags for freezing were added as a request a while back so that one could for example use 32bit float for freezing even though one was ultimately outputting 16bit 44.1, just so that it's maintained at a high precision. (http://www.csounds.com/stevenyi/blue/usermanual/html/programOptions.html, under section Utility). The freezing feature probably needs to be reworked a little bit sometime to make it a little easier to use, but last I checked it worked as expected. Let me know if you have any further problems with it! steven On 4/23/07, Jan Jacob Hofmann <jj...@so...> wrote: > Dear Steven, dear List, > > for a while I have been wondering why sound object freezing would not > work on my computer.
