The way around the variable name clash is to appen the instrument id to the= variable names. In blue, it would look like:=0A=0Agitbsine_<INSTR_ID> ftg= en blah blah...=0A=0A<INSTR_ID> gets substituted automatically by blue for = the instrument ID, so there you go.=0A=0AMichael=0A=0A----- Original Messag= e ----=0AFrom: Jim Credland <ji...@ce...>=0ATo: bluemusic-users= @lists.sourceforge.net=0ASent: Tuesday, January 30, 2007 2:30:03 PM=0ASubje= ct: [Bluemusic-users] Function Tables within Blue=0A=0AWhen encapsulating i= nstruments so they can be reused, what's the best =0Away of handling funct= ion tables?=0A=0AI read somewhere in the manual that ftgen is a good way fo= rward, so =0AI've been doing something along the lines of :=0A=0Agisinetab= ftgen 0, blah, blah, blah=0A=0AHowever the gi variable is a global v= ariable, am I going to run into =0Aname space clashes if I have more than = one instrument that uses a =0Avariable call gisinetab?
