Hi Dave and Michael, First, thanks Dave for letting us know about your performance! I'm always glad to hear of what's going on with everyone's work here in the blue/csound community. Congratulations on the performance! Thanks also Michael for your suggestions, and Dave for mentioning the Bassal presentation. Michael Gogins also mentioned the Bassal presentation in his article in the past Csound Journal and I have had it on my computer for the past week or two and haven't gotten around to checking it out, so now am putting it back on my list of things to take care of. Also: Wow! Wish I had a system like that Michael! ^_^ And thanks for offering to audition pieces; after attending the second day of a conference on Music and Internet today, the one thing I left from the conference most on my mind was the idea of community and wanting to continue to work on growing this one. So, for my part, beyond the work on blue, I'm always willing to help out anyone here trying to find a way to express a musical idea in blue but hasn't quite figured out the way to do so yet. So if you're interested in aleatory, melodies, harmony, algorithms, genetic algorithms, beats, etc. and don't know where to start, feel free to ask questions! steven On 9/26/06, Dave Seidel <da...@su...> wrote: > Michael, > > Thank you for these suggestions, I will look into them as soon as I have > time (soon), and I may take you up on your kind offer to audition the > piece on your home system (which certainly exceeds the capability of > *my* home system).
