Hi Marc, For WinXP, go to the desktop and right-click the "My Computer" icon and select properties. After that, go to the "Advanced" tab and then click the "Environment Variables" button. There should be two tables of variables, one for the user and one for the system. I have my csound variables (OPCODEDIR, PATH, etc.) in System variables I think on my work computer, and checking here on the WinXP partition I realize I don't even have csound installed on it. =3Do Found these links which explain from google, some have some images which should make it easer to figure out: http://support.microsoft.com/default.aspx?scid=3Dkb;en-us;310519&sd=3Dtech http://vlaurie.com/computers2/Articles/environment.htm steven On 7/20/05, Marc D.
