Hi Steven and all - In an effort to reinvigorate my (super rusty) Python skills, I'm going to port my favorite bits of Common Music to Python, particularly the ItemStrea= m concept. Looking for starting points within the csound world, I stumbled upon your Orchestral Composition library in the latest blue release. I'm curious as to how you've been using it - more for inspiration than anything else. I suppose anything I add could be included in a future release? :) Thanks as usual for such an excellent program. Over the years I've gathered that Michael Gogins was the initial cheerleade= r for Python in the csound community, and there are a few examples in the las= t release of csoundVST I saw. Do you know of any other algorithmic-composition-related python resources which I might find useful in this endeavor? I'm wondering if someone hasn't already invented this wheel. Thanks and Happy Holidays everyone! Ben http://www.listenfaster.com |
