Hi All, I've put up beta 12 of the 0.94.0 series of blue. Andres Cabrera has contributed a wonderful tutorial on getting started in blue (in the documentation under Tutorials, "Your First Project"). Notable new features include drag and drop of wav/aif/aiff files from the operating system onto the blue timeline (auto-creates a sound soundObject where dropped, give it a try, it's sort of fun! =) ), drag and drop in the code repository, updated documentation, and blueShare now working. I managed to get blueShare back to where it was in functionality, but I'm planning on moving forward with it to make it all completely usable within blue itself(meaning the ability to register for new accounts and retrieving your password through blue). I'd like to add access to my User-Defined Opcode Database through blue as well, but to do that I need to make the UDO tab in blue be a more extensive manager (list or table on left, editor GUI for UDO on right). I've also been working on my python Orchestral Composition library again. I've added a new Tuning class that works with the library or by itself. The class can be found in blue/lib/pythonLib/orchestra/Tuning.py. I'm planning on documenting this orchestral composition library in the near future. Thanks to Andres for the documentation contributions, as well as everyone who's sent in feedback and requests for this version! steven >Notes for 0.94.0 beta 12< [released 2004.xx.xx] blue [new] - "Your First Project" Tutorial by Andres Cabrera added to documentation as first tutorial in tutorials section [new] - drag and drop of audiofiles from operating system onto ScoreTimeline now supported; automatically creates AudioFile soundObject and adds to timeline where dropped.
