Hi Steven, thanks, that's a good suggestion, I was trying the variable OPCODEDIR, missing the _, so I guess that's the solution. I looked for it but didn't find it in th documentation (I vaguely remembered its existence). About the VST opcodes, I hope you have time to see if they build on OS X. All the code should be cross platform, and making it work on OS X shouldn't be hard, unfortunately I don't have a mac at home...
