Hi all, I've put up a new release in the blue 0.94.0 beta series at: http://www.csounds.com/stevenyi/blue This beta release has a few fixes but most of the efforts have been on implementation of the CeciliaModule. This is the first version of blue where the CeciliaModule is enabled by default. I have converted the CeciliaModules for use with blue which were easily able to be done. Some were not possible as they were programmed to depend on their instrument number (p1) which blue is dynamically reassigning. I have included the Cecilia Modules in the lib directory of the blue installation. When using the CeciliaModule, using "load module" will start in the lib directory to make it easier to navigate to the CeciliaModule's that have been prepared for blue. The following modules were one's I had issues with: Analysis -SpectralFilter ftable doesn't seem to be used, where does ftable 18 in orc come from? -UltraVocoder depends on p1 Synthesis -StochasticGrains -StochasticGrains2 depends on p1 ftable doesn't seem to be used, where does ftable 27 in orc come from? Time -Stretcher -Stretcher2 depends on p1 -Quad Delays depends on function tables created from CGraph coming in a certain order -Warper2 -CPopup index value maps to ftable I will probably redo these slowly as time goes on so if there's any one of these you have a desire for please let me know and I'll try to get to them first. The other modules that come with Cecilia that aren't listed here should work (except Cybil modules); I've tested a number of them and they seem to function as they would in Cecilia. There's a few things left, the two biggest being x-axis and y-axis labels on the graph as well as showing what the value is when dragging points, the other being Cybil. (No one has spent time to answer my Cybil question on the csound list, sigh...). There's also a tremendous slow down when bringing up the editor for certain Cecilia modules which seems to be a bug with Java's JSlider implementation which I hope I can find a work around for. For those who have been wanting to give this a try, please do and give me any feedback. Thanks! steven >Notes for 0.94.0 beta 3< [released 2004.6.6] blue [new] - first time CeciliaModule enabled; mostly functional, use modules from lib/ceciliaModule (should start there when doing load module), still pieces left to implement! [fix] - polyObject needed to respect muting and soloing for generateTables, generateInstruments, and generateGlobals [fix] - if currentSoundObject is being edited, don't refocus in SoundObjectEditPanel; increased speed when moving/resizing soundObjects on timeline that take a long time to bring up editor for [fix] - Arrangement would always append a number when adding an instrument with name as id; should only do if id is already in arrangement |
