Well the thought I had is: 1. Create an effect that takes in signals, processes, and has the three subchannel outputs in the same effect. 2. Effect output is either pass-through or nothing (depending on what is necessary) This would mean not having to put multiple sends which should be a pain (sort of like making your own send mechanism). I'll add subchannel dropdown to effects now and will write an example to see. As for a total mixer rewrite... scary! :P Actually, I thought about a Mixer2 system many years ago but never got around to it. It might be nice to have a different mixer put together. I've long thought having side chain inputs would be good for instruments/effects. Anyways, this idea probably needs a lot of design work before any coding. Feel free to file and issue and we can hash out ideas there. :) On Thu, Jan 11, 2018 at 8:17 AM, Menno Knevel <mag...@gm...> wrote: > Hi Steven, > > since the-more-stable-than-ever Csound 6.10 is released, not causing Blue to > crash anymore, and because of the hope that this year we expect to do some > real composing with the Blue/OSC/Ardour combination, i have been trying as > much as possible to 'prepare' Blue for the real work.
