Hi Menno, So I looked issue #386, but I wasn't quite sure what steps to follow to cause the bug with the posted project. A few things I noticed: 1. This subchannel work was introduced a little over 10 years ago (!!!) . Probably a lot hasn't been updated since then either and it's probably a good time to audit the code. 2. It seems to me that Subchannel dropdowns are missing from Effects! Maybe that caused some confusion? The one thing I suspect is that I may have left it out from effects since a user might try to put an effect with a subchannel dropdown onto a Subchannel or master and cause confusion. 3. If I made it such that you can create effects that use subchannel dropdowns, but you could only add those to mixer strips for instruments and audio layers (which can only write to subchannels or master), would that work for you? Thanks! steven On Wed, Jan 10, 2018 at 9:24 AM, Menno Knevel <mag...@gm...> wrote: > i have found a workaround for the routing.
