i have found a workaround for the routing. Goal was to have an effect that can divide the incoming signal to go to for example 3 Subchannels, each with its own frequency filter section. It must be placed in the pre-fade box of this signal so i can attenuate this signal independently. Because the effects in Blue are UDOs and always ending with "xout aout1, aout2", it is not possible to send from the pre-fade box of a sound using the following pseudo code: *filter LOW* --> go to Subchannel 1 *filter MID* --> go to Subchannel 2 *filter HIGH --> --> go to Subchannel 3 or in Blue code: ...... blueMixerOut "SubChannel1", alp1 ,alp2 blueMixerOut "SubChannel2", abp1 ,abp2 blueMixerOut "SubChannel3", ahp1 ,ahp2 as the effects allow for "xout aout1, aout2" only - no other xout options possible. Not a biggie as the workaround is: - divide in pre-fade the incoming signal with "Add New Send" --> choose to send to Subchannel1 - do the same for two more Subchannels 2 & 3 in the pre-fade box of the signal - in each Subchannel, put the Filter effect in the pre-fade box and set it to LOW, MID, HIGH respectively - only (small) disadvantage is that now i have to have to put in this effect 3 times. But...ready to go, problem solved As for the issue i had with the Suchannel system - it may have had to do with all this fiddling of me trying to send impossible stuff to the Subchannels before i found my workaround. I just tried this blue file again and it does work but with the same Java error sign and error textbox when i click on the sign. In this blue file the Subchannels are not an effect but are in the instrument. |
