Dear Steven, Problem solved. I deleted now the .blue-folder,reinstalled blue 2.6.1 and now blue works again as we know it. Thanks a lot! I do assume that this folder is not overwritten by the installation-process and it may have contained settings form former versions of blue or my former java-settings, right? Anyway, the "about blue" output now looks like this: Product Version: blue 201510222201 Java: 1.8.0_111; Java HotSpot(TM) 64-Bit Server VM 25.111-b14 Runtime: Java(TM) SE Runtime Environment 1.8.0_111-b14 System: Linux version 4.4.0-45-generic running on amd64; UTF-8; de_DE (blue) User directory: /home/janjacobhofmann/.blue/dev Cache directory: /home/janjacobhofmann/.blue/dev/var/cache Still it shows me just Java- SE Runtime environment although I thought I had installed JDK. But...as long as it works :-) All the best, Jan Jacob Am 31.10.2016 um 22:33 schrieb Steven Yi: > Yes, on Unix systems, they generally hide folders and files that start > with ".".
