Hi balaclava, I'm not really sure to be honest. Perhaps it is an issue with using the API? That would be odd though as I tried rendering with both the API on and off here on Windows. I only have access to an OSX 10.6.2 Mac Mini myself so I am unable to test with 10.5 unfortunately. Could you try rendering with the API on and off?
