Hi Menno, It's really up to the opcode implementation to make sure that if they use some kind of flag to ignore initialization that it ignores values that get sent into the opcode args. My guess without looking at code is that if you set imode to 1 for vco2, when it goes to init, it will ignore any values for phase, etc. It's interesting, for oscil, the manual entry says to give -1 for iphs to skip initialization. For vco2, it says to pass 1 to imode param to skip initialization. I think for most opcodes, if it is simple then they will use the convention to skip just phase and use -1, for other more complex opcodes that have a lot of initialization code, there's a convention to use 1 to skip initialization altogether.
