Hi Steven e.a., i was thinking about Blue3 and what i think would be a good workflow. (release date next xmas?:) Lately i was working with Ardour and Cubase. When an audiofile has to be adapted in terms of starting and ending points you can drag the beginning or the end of a part. Using volume edit points you can do this at the highest possible accuracy ( a point is one sample). Can this be possible in Blue3; the starting or ending points of an AudioObject can be adjusted by resizing the Object. Right-clicking the AudioObject one can choose for 'stretching', the way one can resize an Object as is possible right now. Big question is: can a graphical waveform be made visible inside an Object on the Scoreline like one can see in Ardour and Cubase? If so, then all this might be possible: - changing begin or end points of AudioObjects. (Using the skip paramater from diskin2 for changing starttime, i have think about the endingpoint. Also i one changes the pitch how this should be updated in the visual presentation of the Object) - conversion of FrozenObjects to AudioObjects and edit them, make variations - changing begin/end points off all Objects. Like the midi-presentation in Rosegarden and Cubase one can resize an Object and thus mute/delete the according events. Also the use of a scissors-tool for cutting Objects would make sense. bye, Menno -- View this message in context: http://old.nabble.com/Blue3-tp26933308p26933308.html Sent from the Csound - Blue - User mailing list archive at Nabble.com. |
