I use Windows XP 64-bit. It is not a very common OS, but usually is fine, except for Eclipse and some old applications. The fact that Eclipse was unusable (GUI elements that didn't respond) and is also written in Java, may be a hint that it is due to my OS. But with the old version of Blue I never had this problem.
