Hi Brian, Replying to this on the blue list. I just found some time to try this instrument out and I really liked it! For me, I tried just editing some pitch envelopes for the different oscilators and it was fun to get these warbly sounds, reminding me of more early computer music type sounds which I've been enjoying lately. As for the instrument design, I think at first the UI is deceptive because in its initial state one doesn't realize that all of the envelopes for all oscilators are in the same table editor. I can see how that could be very useful, but I'm wondering if it would be simpler to work with if you split up the tables, either into sets of tables per oscilator, or perhaps one table editor with just frequencies, another with just amplitudes, etc. It's a tricky thing though as you'd probably would like to coordinate values between tables of the same parameter but different osc as well as those of different parameters but same osc. So just a thought but I can see where how all the tables in one place makes sense too. Thanks for sharing! steven On Jan 17, 2008 11:59 AM, Brian Wong <bri...@ho...> wrote: > > I just had to make a new instrument with a big lineobject widget to make use > of all that new space available in the latest blue version.
