in measure, there are some largely unused but very useful functions that rotate
from a given orientation to one of the faces of a regular polyhedron. this
feature is required for doing surface area and length with random orientations.
for a n-hedra, the idea is that there are n-1 rotations that rotate to the
various faces of a regular n-hedra.
faces that are parallel need not be entered twice. for example, for a cube, the
front and back faces are parallel and the rotations are equivalent if you slice
the block along that plane except for an exchange of left and right.
these fixed rotations need to be added to the blox gui.
