This has been observed in Mac OS X.

When the BioMat Module is enabled in the Dashboard (the BioMat Bridge analyzer appears), opening the Dashboard help system (Menu: "Help" -> "Help Contents") causes a dead/unusable configuration dialog of the BioMat Bridge to appear. Sometimes, one is able to close this window by editing the configuration of an existing BMB in a workflow, but not always.

What a nuisance!
