Preferences

Preference can be imported from and exported to a file.

• MyFlora3dDirectory: Set the folder from where the flora3d plant models should be load from.
• Show Reflections: disable reflections, enable them generally or enable them just for screenshot exports. The slider adjusts the size below which models should be omitted from reflections. The idea is that small models will be hard to see in the reflection anyway and with omitting them, the reflection is faster computed. The rendering can be further speed up by disabling high quality reflections, Biosphere uses than a smaller texture to compute and store the reflection. The reflection intensity slider controls the blend between the water color and the reflected surrounding.
• Memory Limit in Gigabyte: Biosphere stops the distribution of plants if this limit is reached
• With the relative paths option, Biosphere stores paths relative to the project file instead of absolute ones.
