Tests needed a bit more time, than announced earlier, but here is the newest version.

Performance:
Organisms will always use the faster collision detection, when they birth more than one child now. Slow one is only used at the start of the game now.
Other smaller optimizations.

Balance changes:
-Exact formula for photosynthesis segment effectivity is now:
(0.6 + (1.26 / (number of genes + 1)) + (1.68 / symmetry) * segment length.

-INDIGO: if the virus energy is even reduced to <= 2.5 (was < 2.5) the virus is not born, the infection is removed
and reproduction delay = 20 frames (was 0 frames), if it would have been the only child

-small SYMBIONT effectivity changes (see README)
-BLUE vs enhanced CREAM changes (see README)
-enhanced non plant WHITE loses less energy vs SPIKEPOINT
-BLUE can shield vs FALLOW
-OLIVE for non plant/consumer viruses does not turn into DARKOLIVE vs GRAY
-minor other changes (see README)

Should be the last 1.8X Color Mod before 1.90, but if I find a problem with it, there might be a 1.87.
