BencHTTP is a utility to test the performance of HTTP servers under load. It is highly configurable via simple script files and allows extensive customisation of HTTP requests. The current server performance is continuously displayed during the test.

BencHTTP 1.0, the scriptable HTTP benchmarking tool, is now available for download. BencHTTP allows you to script a set of HTTP requests to test how your application or server would perform under a realistic load. GET and POST methods, cookies, and HTTP header customisation are supported.
