#12 Beaver Not Opening File - Beaver Empty When Opening

I'm running Slackware 13.37 x86 with only OpenBox 3.4.11.2 as my desktop and I only use PCManFM-Mod file manager, which is a modification of PCManFM...

I was compiling Xorg's latest xf86-video-ati driver and the 'Changelog' that came with the source, when I click it in PCManFM-Mod Beaver shows nothing and is blank.

So then I installed Leafpad which I've used in the past and when I clicked the file Leafpad showed the information in the Changelog. I'm not sure what's wrong with Beaver, other then some unusual characters it doesn't want to display and therefore it's just not displaying anythign, but this isn't good not having an editor work like this, so I hope we can get this fixed soon.
