Why does Bayes Anti-Spam tend to classify mails as spam?

Bayes Anti-Spam also takes into account base rate of spam occuring in your mailbox. If you have trained Bayes Anti-Spam primarily by showing spam mails to it then it is more likely to classify future mails as spam. Solution: Classify a couple of mails that are not spam as valid.
