#8 battstat applet only in runlevel 3

Hi there,

i just installed Battstat-Applet under RedHat 7.3 with
plain Vanilla Kernel 2.4.18 and the latest ACPI
Patches. But the only way to get Battstat-Applet
showing the Battery-State is only in runlevel 3. When i
switch back to RL 5 (default) i can't get any battery
state.

Any suggestions?
