Building the Database for the First Time

(Updated 2020-8; BallroomDJ version 3.29.24)

Select Update Database from the main menu. Select Rebuild Database in the drop down selection, then select the Start button.

Rebuild Database will completely replace any existing database. There are backup files in the data\ sub-folder.

Depending on the number and type of audio files, this process can take a very long time. Be patient.

When the rebuild is finished, some statistics will be displayed.

When finished, close the Update Database tab.
