Same Song Marks

Same Song marks are used in automatic and sequenced playlists.

In many cases a song will be played by different artists and the song is good for dancing in all the different versions. Same song marks mark a set of songs as the same. This allows BallroomDJ to play one of the set, giving more variety while preventing a different version of the same song from playing.

To mark a set of songs as the same, first start the Music Manager from the main menu. Select the songs to mark as the same., then select the Actions -> Mark as Same Song menu selection.

The set of songs will be marked with a color tag. The color is chosen at random and will be different each time the music manager is started. In case the colors are similar, the mouse can be hovered over the color tag, and the same song key value will be displayed.

To clear the same song marks, simply select the songs to be cleared and select the Actions -> Clear Same Song Mark menu selection.
