Mobile Remote Control

The mobile remote control allows a mobile device to control BallroomDJ

The BallroomDJ mobile remote control allows a mobile device or computer to control BallroomDJ using a web browser.

Enable the mobile remote control in Configuration / Options / Mobile Remote Control. You should also change the User ID and Password.

It is recommended that both Quick Play options be enabled when using the mobile remote control.

The mobile remote control is started when the music player is started. If the mobile remote control is not working, be sure that the music player is running.

On your mobile device, enter the URL displayed in Connection Information into your web browser. The web browser will ask for the username and password. Enter the username and password that are configured in BallroomDJ.

Browser Authentication

The first screen controls the volume, play/pause, repeat, pause at end and speed of the song.

Mobile Remote Control : Player Controls

The second screen only functions if the Quick Play screen is active. The second screen allows selection of a dance which can then be queued. See the Quick Play wiki page for information on the different functions.
