Quick Play is an optional configuration. It is used for quick startup of playlists or playing by dance.
User Interface Changes
1) A new button, Quick Play, is added to the main menu.
Enabling Quick Play
To enable quick play, selection Configuration from the main menu, select Options, and select the User Interface tab. Turn on Enable Quick Play.
To have the quick play dialog display on startup, turn on Show Quick Play at Start.
If you use the Configuration: Mobile Remote Control, it is recommended that both of these selection be turned on.
You must exit and restart BallroomDJ to see the changes to the main menu.
Using the Quick Play dialog
There are several choices to play a dance, and also the ability to select a playlist to play.
If an automatic playlist named Quick Play is created, it will be used instead of the default playlist configuration.
Select a dance and select the associated Queue button. A song for that dance will be selected, and queued for playback. If no song is playing, the song will automatically start playing.
Selecting Play 5 will queue five songs for the selected dance.
Selecting Play Continuously will queue sixty songs for the selected dance.
If you want to choose the songs to play for the dance, select the
Select & Play button. The music manager will display in competition mode with the dance pre-selected. Select the song(s) to play and select the Queue button in the music manager.
Select Clear Player to clear any queued playlists, queued songs and stop playing the current song.
Select Clear Queue to clear any queued playlists and any queued songs. The current song will continue playing.
To play a playlist, select the playlist and select the associated
Play button. Any playlists and songs currently queued will be cleared, and the selected playlist will load and start playing.
