Searching for Songs in the Music Manager

To search for a song in the music manager, make sure the Search radio button is selected, enter a search term, and select the
Filter button.

If the search term matches any field or part of any field in the song information or the song's filename, the song will be displayed.

The Reset button will reset all the search fields. If no search is entered, all songs will be selected.

The Re-Select button will re-select the songs that previously selected.

The Any selection in the drop-downs will search for songs that where the selected field is not empty or 'None'. The None selection in the drop-downs will search for songs where the selected field is empty. The Keyword and Tags fields also accept Any and None as searches.

The Keyword search will only find exact matches of the keyword. If you want to find a partial match, use the Search entry box. Any or None may also be entered.

The Tags search will only find exact matches of song tags. If you want to find a partial match to a tag, use the Search entry box. Any or None may also be entered. A song may have more than one tag set and the tag search will match the tag.

The Sort By drop-down allows selection of how the songs will be sorted.
