Mobile Remote Control

Configuration / Options / Mobile Remote Control

The mobile remote control enables a simple web page that can be used on your mobile device to control the BallroomDJ music player.

Enable Remote Control: Enables and disables the mobile remote control.

Show Dance: When enabled, the current dance will be shown on the mobile remote control screen.

Show Song Information: When enabled, the song's artist and title will be shown on the mobile remote control screen.

HTML Template Selects the web page template to use. The available templates all provide the same functionality.

User ID The user ID to use when signing on to the mobile remote control.

Password The password to use when signing on to the mobile remote control.

Port Number The port number to use to connect to the mobile remote control.

Connection Information Use the displayed information (not the display from this wiki page) to connect to the mobile remote control. Both the IPv4 and IPv6 addresses are displayed. If your computer has multiple interfaces active, more connection information may be displayed. Choose the connection corresponding to your currently active interface. Selecting a connection will change the QR code link.

QR Code Displays the QR code for the selected connection in your browser. Take a picture of the QR code with your mobile device in order to access the mobile remote control.
