Genres are used in organization and searching the music. There are numerous ​possible genres that can be used. Ballroom music collectors often simply set the genre to the dance. Other people like to use the actual genre.

If the BallroomDJ database has just been built, the Rebuild button can be use to create a genre list based on what genres were found in the audio file tags.

Select the Add New button to add a new line and enter the new genre. Selecting a checkbox next to an entry and then selecting the
Add New button will add a new line before the selected entry.

Select the checkbox next to the selection(s) to delete and select the
Delete button to remove a genre.

The Reset button will reset the list of genres to the default.
