No idea why they are putting gui routines into their library.

A BallroomDJ socket interface has not been written for MPV as the library interface is preferable. However, this may be needed for Mac OS X.

On Windows, the MPV library interface does not work properly for .flac files. For this reason, the integrated MPV interface cannot be released for Windows. It works with Linux (libmpv version 1.25).

Perhaps a socket interface for MPV will be best for the time being.
