Autshumato ITE / News: Recent posts

The Autshumato MT plugin for OmegaT is now available.

The plugin connects to the Autshumato Machine Translation (MT) systems to assist in the translation from English into Afrikaans, Sepedi, Setswana and Xitsonga.

As new MT systems become available they will be accessible through the plugin without installing a newer version.

The Frequently Asked Questions page has been updated to reflect the changes in the latest version of the application.

The latest version of the Autshumato ITE (version 3.0.0) has been released for Windows, Linux and Mac. The Autshumato ITE 3.0.0 is a derived work of OmegaT_3.0.6_Beta.

The latest version of the Autshumato ITE (version 2.0.0) is available. This will be the last major release of the ITE. This version will always be available for legacy.

This patch updates the Autshumato ITE 1.1.0 to version 1.1.1. The new version fixes some bugs found in the previous version.

The patch is available in the Files. Simply download, extract and run the included Patcher program. Otherwise you can simply copy all the files in the /files/ directory to the Autshumato ITE installation directory.

Version 1.1.0 of the ITE is available for download.

Some of the changes include:
- One version of the ITE for multiple platforms (Windows, Mac, Linux).
- Hide Tag option on the View menu. Hides all the formatting tags from the user.
- Able to request translations from: Apertium, Google Translate and Belazar.

The Mac version of the Autshumato ITE is available.

The Mac requires a specialized version because the officebean component of OpenOffice.org is not supported on Mac.

The Autshumato ITE version 1.0.2 is available for download. This version is Linux capable.

Other:
- Autshumato.ITE.Setup.Source is available, it contains the script to build the Autshumato ITE Windows Installer.
- Autshumato.ITE.Setup is a Windows Installer to easily install the Autshumato ITE and prerequisites on a Windows computer. It will be released later today.

The Autshumato ITE 1.0.1 for Windows is available for download.

The Linux and then Mac versions to follow shortly.

The Beta version of the Autshumato Integrated Translation Environment is available for download.
- Autshumato.ITE.Beta.zip (Full version with JRE 1.6 and OpenOffice.org 3 included)
- Autshumato.ITE.Beta.Compact.zip (Compact version, JRE and OpenOffice.org has to be installed manually)

The compact version of the Autshumato ITE Alpha is available for download. Download, Extract and read the ReadMe.txt file for instructions.

The Autshumato ITE alpha version is available from the SVN repository: https://autshumatoite.svn.sourceforge.net/svnroot/autshumatoite/branch/Alpha/Autshumato.ITE To Compile and run the alpha version only this project is needed. But also included in the alpha repository is the custom OmegaT library and the Launcher code. The alpha version is only a proof of concept and used for testing...
