Cannot parse files with album art

I had a track in iTunes with an annoying length of silence before the
"hidden track" (I'd forget I was playing music and then think some website
was suddenly playing sound at me) so I fired up AudioSlicer to turn the
hidden track into a separate file. It gave me a corrupt file error message
("too many decode errors," "maybe not an mp3"). I checked for an update,
but I have the most recent (1.0.3). I then suspected it was the album art,
since it would naturally be the largest chunk of unrecognized data in the
file, so I used iTunes to remove it, and AudioSlicer opened the new,
artless file without incident.

I have duplicated this error using Intel MacBook... I'd love to see it fixed as I just
spent so much time getting all my album art into my MP3s.
