Asterisk Manager has now been downloaded by over 15,000 users. This figure is a combination of the Asterisk Manager page at universal-marketplace.com and the SourceForge project page. Version 2.0 should be released in Q1 of 2006. Programmers are still needed as are QA volunteers. A port to Ruby has also been proposed.
As of last week, over 3,000 folks have downloaded Asterisk Manager. Hopefully, there will be a new release by the end of the year as the original release, while stable and functional, is very limited in scope. Though 3 people have signed up to be developers, no one has contributed anything yet. If anyone has any hardware to donate (line cards, ATAs, or phones) it would be helpful in the next release. ... read more
Between the old site (http://www.universal-marketplace/am) and the SourceForge site, Asterisk Manager will reach over 1,000 downloads within the next day or so. This comes a little over a month after initial release on June 24th, 2004.
