The source code for Ares, a game from Ambrosia Software (http://www.ambrosiasw.com/games/ares/) was released today by Nathon Lamont, its creator. This unveiling of the code has been anticipated by a team of developers hoping to port the game to Mac OS X, and even Windows and Linux. The source was released with the GNU GPL license, but Ares' map editor, Hera, was released under public domain.
