I use one laptop with windows 10 as monitoring machine and a htpc with windows 10 as a host.
Both computers are in the same workgroup and both have AVG free edition.
On host I did the following:
wake on lan BIOS - enabled
Device Manager - Network adaptor - Wake on Magic Packet - enabled
Device Manager - Network adaptor - wake on pattern match - enabled
Windows firewall - Inbound rules for Remote Shutdown (TCP-In and RPC-EP-In) - Enabled * Action: Allow the connection
Windows firewall - Inbound rules port 445 and 8900 - enabled * Action: Allow the connection
When using Wake On Lan on the laptop:
Search for machine - it finds my host machine (MAC Address - OK, Local IP - OK)
Pinger - machine is online
UDP port 9 / TTL 128 / RDP port 3389 / Shutdown Method Legacy
Regedit :(((
Shut down does not work!
Wake up does not work!
Remote desktop works!
I need shut down and wake up commands to work :)
Any idea!
Thx in advance.
