[Windows 10 and ReadyNAS]: I want to use WOL to start up my NAS drive when my laptop starts up. My laptop is using wi-fi, the NAS is hardwired to my network. I am able to trigger this action when I log in, but I'd like to do it when the laptop starts up before I log in. When I set the trigger in Task Scheduler to run "At system startup", the laptop starts up the NAS after the laptop does a Restart but NOT from a Shutdown state. In the latter case, the Scheduled WOL Task does not even run. Why is this? Any fix available? Any ideas anyone?

If the scheduled task is not running, we need to investigate that. This is not part of WOL, but is using the native windows task scheduler. You would need to adjust the options to have the task run on boot with proper authentication.
