Hello,
when I click "Help" > "About" the "Online Update" does not work any more. It says "Checking for updates..." very long and then displays "Last check 05 april 2015".
I reinstalled but the problem still exists. The OS is Windows 7 Pro 64 Bit SP1. On two other PCs this problem does not exist.
I hope that you can solve this with a future release.
Thanks and bye

Thanks for taking the time to report it.
I have tested on 3 machines here using 7 Pro 64 and Enterprise. I cannot find any problem. I suspect maybe you have a personal firewall running on your local computer that is blocking the WOL program from checking for updates?

Thanks for your answer. I am running F-Secure on all my PCs with the same settings and I haven't changed anything. The update check war working perfectly until version 2.11.1. The problem exists only on one PC, the other two PCs (Windows 7 Pro 64 bit and Windows 8.1 Pro 64 bit) have no problems...
Do you have any idea what can cause this problem?

Hello,
I'm sorry, but I can't help you how to reproduce this problem. I simply installed the 2.11.2 over the 2.11.1 and the problem was there. When I installed the 2.11.3 over the 2.11.2 the problem was still there. It's very strange.

Hello,
now I found the problem. It was located in the Windows registry, under HKEY_CURRENT_USER > Software > Aquila Technology > WakeOnLAN > AutoUpdater.
I had to modify two entries:
"skip" was 0x00000001 (1) and I changed it to 0x00000000 (0).
"version" was still 2.11.2.0, I changed it to 2.11.3.0
Now it's working fine.

Hello,
I didn't select "skip this update" in the past. But I can tell you that these two entries do not exist on my other PCs. Now I deleted these two entries and the auto update is still working fine.

I was able to duplicate the problem. I'm looking at it...
This should all be fixed in 2.11.2 beta 10.

There was a race condition with several different threads.
Hello,
I installed 2.11.3 today, but the problem is still there...
Can you give me steps to duplicate it? I've tried and it works perfectly here.

Wow, there must be a bug in the skip version function. I'm going to look into that. Did you select "skip this update" in the past?
Thanks a lot for digging into to this and finding the cause.
