Alpha Shooter is a sci-fi 3D FPS game, previously written in C with OpenGL, that now uses its own modular game engine (Neutron). It's still in early development and will expand (with its reusable engine) to include a scripted storyline, simulated physics and AI and more.
The SVN repository is now active and will house the new version of Alpha Shooter, completely rewritten in C++, together (temporarily) with the Neutron engine. Users who have been updating source code from the CVS repository should now switch to SVN as the former won't be updated anymore.... read more
Alpha Shooter is a simple 3D OpenGL First-Person
Shooter game with a sci-fi setting, multi-platform
support (currently Linux, Mac OS X, CygWin and
Windows), dynamic lighting, particles and
collision detection systems. While it is
currently in alpha stage, it will evolve to
incorporate dynamic shadows, simulated physics,
network support and much more.

systems, including a Windows installer, Debian
